CubCrafters Authorized Service Center at Gastonia (KAKH)

AGL Aviation Services is a CubCrafters Authorized Service Center at Gastonia Municipal Airport (KAKH), near Charlotte. CubCrafters owners in the Carolinas can bring their airplane to Hangar 3-98 for scheduled inspections, maintenance and repairs from a shop authorized by the factory.

Aircraft we support

We work on CubCrafters aircraft, including the Carbon Cub, XCub, NX Cub, Top Cub and Sport Cub. Each comes in different configurations (type-certificated, light sport or experimental kit). The certification basis decides which inspection applies and who may sign it off, so we confirm that with you up front.

What we do

• Inspections: the required inspection for your aircraft's certification basis, plus any applicable CubCrafters service information.
• Maintenance and repairs: routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs using CubCrafters parts and procedures.
• Upgrades: EI engine monitors, SureFly electronic ignition, Beringer wheels and brakes and Dynon avionics, where they're approved or appropriate for your aircraft.
• Pitot-static leak checks: done in the hangar. IFR certifications are coordinated through a certificated repair station.

Why an authorized service center

CubCrafters aircraft are built for backcountry and short-field work, which is hard on landing gear, brakes, tires and attach points. An authorized service center works with CubCrafters' service information and parts support, so the right part and the right procedure are easier to get.

We're on the field at KAKH, 1126 Gaston Day School Rd, Hangar 3-98, Gastonia, NC 28056, about 12 miles west of Charlotte Douglas.
